Hidden Scars Founder Joel Floyd West lived the Rockstar Lifestyle and has the Scars to prove it! Joining and leaving bands, nights in jail, brushes with Death, multiple women in multiple cities, and just about every illegal drug you can think of is all part of the life JFW lived and got out of his system at an early age. 

 

The Gothic/Sci-Fi Horror influenced Hidden Scars’ Latest Work reflects on past struggles with Depression, Suicide, Authority and Abusive Relationships and deals with those issues through Individuality, Creativity and Higher States of Consciousness, primarily in the Form of Art, Music, Lyrics, and Poetry focused on the Dark Side of Humanity.

 

Many of the bands' Live Performances are designed to bring awareness to issues surrounding Police Brutality, Mental Health Issues, Domestic/Drug and other forms of Abuse, and other Social and Humanitarian Issues. 

 

They urge their listeners to NEVER be ashamed of the Hurt within them, to face and DEFEAT their Inner Demons through Art and Self-Expression, and to Reveal their OWN Hidden Scars to the World!
